Free For All Friday- Finish Chelsea's Run

I wanted to tell all the San Diego people about “Finish Chelsea’s Run”. For those of you who don’t know about Chelsea King she was a 17 year old strait A student who had gone missing while she was doing her daily long distance run around Lake Hodges. Chelsea’s body was found in a shallow grave alongside a tributary of Lake Hodges five days later. A registered sex offender John Gardner has been charged with sexually assaulting and murdering Chelsea. (He had previously been released early from jail for same type of crime after only 5 years, the psychologist who worked with him suggested he be in jail for 30 years max sentence b/c he had no remorse and she said he would do it again).. don’t even get me started on this one…

Soo some amazing people here in San Diego had the idea of finishing Chelsea’s run for her. (tears) Beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, you can meet in the parking lot of Westfield North County on Via Rancho Parkway to catch shuttles to the northern San Diego Park. It will be a three-mile run/walk over trails near the lake and will start at 9 am. You can also bring kids and doggies!!

Please come and support Chelsea’s family and friends!!
